Nirvana

Friday nights dinner was hosted by Nirvana. We ate in the dining room of the recently restored 300 year old Fairview Great House. Upon arrival guests were greeted with appetizers and the signature St. Kitts drink, Rum Punch. We then were given a guided tour of the Great House and the Botanical Gardens. We ended the night with a delicious dinner and great fellowship!

Farewell Friday

Friday night the prep school teachers gathered together to say goodbye to fellow co-workers Katie and Alem. They will be leaving St. Kitts in April to start the next chapter in their lives. Katie and I started working at the prep school at the same time. She was my first friend here on the island. Her fiance Dave has been a tremendous support to Brandon as well. We wish them both the best at Purdue!

Saturday in St. Kitts

This is the time of the semester when I am single. Brandon can be found in the library studying for finals. One of my co-workers picked me up and we went to a "Sip and See" for one of my former students and his family. We welcomed his new baby sister, Alyssa, into the St. Kitts family. The event was hosted by Mrs. Turtle Jane and her husband Don. It was a great morning! Saturday afternoon, Brandon needed a break so we packed up the car and headed to Shipwreck beach for an early dinner. We then headed to the Marriott for a little gambling. The night ended with a win and we headed home!
