6 Months!

Seeing how Callen is already 7 months old, I thought it was time to share his 6 month pictures. We LOVE this little boy more than anything in the world.  He has enriched our lives more than we ever thought possible. Callen has such a sweet and funny personality. This month he started waving bye and he loves to clap his hands when you sing "Patty Cake." He hasn't started crawling yet, but he is getting very close. He loves to eat baby food, and his favorite is peaches. We started giving him puffs and he is doing great eating these and developing his fine motor skills. He could sit and play with "his" toys forever! Swinging in his swing outside is definitely at the top of his to do list. Callen went to his first Astros Game and watched his first Aggie Game this month! He likes wearing ball caps, just like his daddy!

Aggie Family Fun Night

Callen had a blast at his first Aggie Family Fun Night! He got to meet two of the Aggie Yell Leaders, rode a carousel horse, saw some of Mommy and Daddy's Aggie friends, and even got to taste Blue Bell Ice Cream!

San Antonio

Brandon and I headed to San Antonio for our first weekend away without our little guy. Callen stayed with his BonBon and Grandpa and had a great time! Brandon and I had such a relaxing time and enjoyed strolling the river walk, swimming, shopping, and just enjoying each others company. By Sunday morning we were both ready to get back home to pick up our little guy.

Sophia is such a great cousin! Callen LOVES watching her and Sophia is so protective of him. She even went with him to the church nursery so that he wouldn't be scared. Thank you Sophia for taking such good care of Callen!

Happy Anniversary

Four years ago today I walked down the isle to my best friend and said "I Do!" It has been an amazing four years full of love and laughter brought on by interesting and unique experiences! I can't wait to see what the future holds for our little family! I love you Brandon!

Crayon Crazy!

I am busy preparing my classroom for the upcoming school year. My classroom theme is "Welcome to Our Pack"! I made this last night for my door. Now I am trying to figure out how to make crayon pillows for my classroom library. This could be interesting seeing as how I don't sew. If you have any ideas, please let me know!

I see a beautiful father/son relationship forming between these two! I hope that they share the same wonderful relationship that Brandon and his father have!

Callen's Nursery

Our upcoming move had taking pictures of Callen's nursery at the TOP of my to do list. It makes me sad to think that we are leaving the place were Callen first called "home". I have enjoyed rocking and reading to my baby in this room. It is a peaceful place where Callen loves to be. Here are the memories that will forever be in my mind and heart of my baby's first room!

Brandon bought this for Callen's room. We hope that Callen looks at this and is reminded of all the important life lessons that his family has taught him!

This is the first thing that I bought for Callen when we found out that we were having a baby boy!

This is Callen's first Bible that Brandon and I started reading to him while I was still pregnant. The other two books are from the little boy that Callen is named after. They came all the way to our Callen from St. Kitts!

I wanted this rocking chair because it reminded me of the one that I had when I was growing up. When we bought it, it needed refinishing and Brandon so lovingly worked on it to restore it!

This is the crib that Callen's BonBon and Grandpa (Brandon's parents) bought for him. 

This is the bedding that Callen's GiGi and PopPop (my mom and dad) bought for their first grandchild!
