One Month

Our little man is one month old today! It's hard to believe that one month has gone by. We love to watch Callen grow and learn with each new day!

Brandon and I are proud to announce the arrival of our son, 

Callen Lane Schulte

Callen entered this world on February 20, 2012 at exactly 3:14pm. He weighed 7lbs. 7oz. and was 20 inches long. This little boy has already blessed our lives in so many ways. We thank God for giving us this precious baby boy to nurture, love, and inspire!

A Look Back...

Our little St. Kitts souvenir will be here tomorrow! Brandon and I have so many emotions about our little man's big arrival. We can't help but think back at this amazing journey. All the crazy doctors appointments in St. Kitts that had us traveling to hole in the wall places to get blood work done. The anticipation and anxiety as we kept "our little secret" from our families until we could tell them in person on United States soil. The moment that we found out that we were going to have a little boy made us both smile. I will never forget what Brandon's first comment was: "what kind of heifers is he going to show in the fair?" I know that tomorrow I will be scared and nervous about the labor process, but I just keep telling myself that in the end you will be here, and that will make it all worth it!

Induction

Baby Schulte will be induced on February 20th, if he doesn't make his grand entrance before then. It is quite possible that we will have a President's Day Baby! This mommy could not be happier to see the end it sight. Just seven more days and we will get to meet our most precious St. Kitts Souvenir!

I Can't Wait To Be Your Mommy!

So I am sitting here thinking of the perfect words to say,

to tell you how I feel about the arrival of your birthday.

I am feeling a little nervous, with hopes I do everything right,
but I cant wait to be your mommy, every waking day and every sleepy night.

I have so many plans and things for us to do,
So I sit here in anticipation just waiting to meet you.

You already mean the world to me and so, so much more,
I cant wait to be your mommy, that's all I'm waiting for.

Mine and your bags are packed and waiting in the car,
because the day that you will be here, isn't very far.

So here I sit thinking of the perfect words to say,
But all that comes to mind is

I can't wait to be your mommy every single day!!!!
